Media Release from Nacha: Same Day ACH Gains Lead to First Quarter ACH Network Growth
Double-digit growth in Same Day ACH volume and value helped propel the ACH Network to a strong start in the first quarter of 2026.
“The strong growth in both Same Day ACH and B2B payments reflect the strength of the ACH Network,” said Jane Larimer, Nacha President and CEO. “ACH payments are moving the nation’s businesses away from checks, and Same Day ACH is helping to meet the demand for faster payments.”
Total ACH Network volume rose 4.8% to 8.9 billion payments; the value of those payments was $24.1 trillion, up 9.3%.
