General Description:
The primary responsibility of this position is to manage the various internal administrative matters for PaymentsFirst, with a focus on supporting the Organizations. Perform accounting month-end, quarter-end and year-end processes and other financial analysis.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
Accounts Receivable: Monitor orders and process payments for products and services. Monitor the aging report and follow up on past due outstanding payments. Follow-up with members on past dues.
Accounts Payable and Vendor Management: Process vendor payments in a timely manner. Maintain all vendor contracts and relationships. Identify potential areas for cost savings.
Accounting Support: Enter accounting transactions into QuickBooks. Complete month-end, quarter-end and year-end processes. Write financial procedures.
Office Supply Management: Maintain office supplies inventory and anticipate supply needs. Complete order entry and fulfillment and track related expenses.
Accounts Payable and Vendor Management: Process vendor payments in a timely manner. Maintain all vendor contracts and relationships. Identify potential areas for cost savings.
Administrative Support: Perform a variety of internal administrative tasks including photocopying, filing, and mail distribution.
Required Skills and Competencies:
Strong PC skills to include MS Office, Excel, QuickBooks Online and database software.
- Associates degree in Business, Accounting or related field, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Two years of related administrative experience
Knowledge of standard office administration procedures
Strong communication skills
Able to perform and prioritize multiple tasks
Preferred Skills and Competencies:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting or related field
- Basic accounting experience
- Administrative or executive assistant experience
- Strong PC skills to include MS Office, QuickBooks Online and database software
